SUMMARY:Mini Meet
DESCRIPTION:The Mini Meet provides gymnasts enrolled in GymStars Level I\, II and III classes\, as well as the Pre-Team Program\, with an opportunity to experience what it is like to participate in a meet complete with spectators\, judges\, and scores. Gymnasts perform routines on floor\, balance beam\, vault\, and bars that they learn and practice in class. Routines are based on USA Gymnastics progressions and standards. Gymnasts are observed and scored by experienced Central Bucks coaches. A recognition ceremony will be held at the conclusion of the Mini Meet. \nEVENT SCHEDULE\nThe Mini Meet will begin at 10:00 AM on Sunday\, March 22nd and will include three sessions (10:00AM\, 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM). Each session will last about ninety minutes. Assigned session times were emailed to all families on 3/17 from info@cbgym.com. Please call 215-345-0176 or send an email to info@cbym.com if you have not received your assigned session time. \nIMPORTANT REMINDERS\nIn order to help make sure things run smoothly and remain on schedule\, we’d appreciate your cooperation with the following: \n\nPlease do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your session begins in order to limit congestion in the parking lot and crossover traffic.\nA staff member will check each gymnast in upon arrival and provide information about the group the gymnast is in.\nThere will be colored flags set up on the floor. Gymnasts should take off their shoes\, socks\, jackets\, etc. upon entering the gym and have a seat with their group on the floor.\nGymnasts should arrive with their leotard on and their hair up out of their face (e.g. ponytail\, braid\, bun).\nSpectators are welcome free of charge\, but we ask that you limit the number of spectators to three or less per registered gymnast/family. Parking and spectator capacity is limited. \nPlease carpool in order to limit the number of cars in the parking lot. Parking will be available in both the lower and upper lots.
