Legacy Invitational

Established in 2022, the Legacy Invitational honors and celebrates the lives and legacies of two key figures, Tom Ford and Bob Schultz. Tom co-founded Central Bucks Gymnastics and Dance in 1973 and was head coach from its inception until he passed away in 2016. His influence and contributions to the sport of gymnastics extended well beyond Central Bucks. Bob was a member of the coaching staff from 1976 until he passed away in 2015. His impact as a coach and contributions to the development of the competitive gymnastics program at Central Bucks were extraordinary. Tom and Bob were close friends and collaborators devoted to helping every gymnast they coached reach her full potential. A portion of the proceeds from the meet will benefit the Bob Schultz Memorial Scholarship, which provides college scholarship to Level 9 or 10 gymnasts who reside in Pennsylvania. Learn more about the scholarship and apply at www.bobschultzmemorialscholarship.org.

Nearly 600 gymnasts from twenty teams, including some of the best in Region 7, in four states (Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, and New Jersey) competed in the 2023 Legacy Invitational.
