The Level 9 and 10 teams from Central Bucks competed in the Atlantis Crown Gymnastics Invitational held at the beautiful Atlantis Resorts, Nassau Bahamas from December 16-18, 2022. The Level 9 team won first place and the Level 10 team placed second.
Aria Chen and Eliot Buteux, both Level 9 gymnasts, placed top three all-around in their age groups. Chen placed third with a 34.475 all-around score. She placed first on bars. Buteux placed third with a 35.725 all-around score. She placed third on floor.
Three other Level 9 gymnasts finished in the top three in their age groups on individual events. Brenna Kuhns placed first on beam with a 9.075. Alyssa Housten placed third on vault with a 9.300 and third on bars with a 9.100. Riley Beauchmin placed third on beam with a 8.475.
Ruthie Wehrung, Stacy Boss and Margot Moskovitz, all Level 10 gymnasts, all competed in the same age group and swept first, second, and third place. Wehrung placed first with a 36.325 all-around score. She placed first on all four events. Boss placed second with a 34.650 all-around score. She placed second on vault, bars, and floor. Moskovitz placed third with a 32.925 all-around score. She placed third on vault, third on bars, and second on beam.
